Unlike canvas tarps, this poly fabric tarp doesn't absorb water, which better protects your valuables and also prevents the tarp from gaining weight while in use. It's reinforced around the perimeter to provide extra protection against abrasion, and the reinforced grommets prevent tearing and pulled out eyelets.
